Al Scott is a Detroit based Motion Designer!

Al has been a working Motion Designer for several years after graduating with his BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Following graduation, Al spent some time at Turner Broadcasting working with [adult swim] Digital and freelancing. Some freelance clients included the Detroit Lions, General Motors, and Ford Motor Company. Projects ranged from motion design, storyboarding, illustration, and video editing.

Al spent 6 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, eventually being promoted to the role of Senior Motion Designer after 3 seasons. He produced & oversaw several aspects of the Red Wings’ in-venue entertainment, open shows, media day shoots, all while working with a unique variety of digital displays and formats. Al also designed animated content for the Detroit Tigers, Little Caesars Arena, 313 Presents, and more.

Al is currently freelancing full-time, and a member of Boxfort Detroit.
